Privacy policy

teze.app collects almost nothing about you. There are no analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising cookies, no third-party scripts beyond Google Fonts. The only personal data we see is the contents of any email you choose to send us.

Our products (Verso, Rowpa, RotaPulse, Tactile Framework, BatchStaff, QuietWall) have their own privacy notices on their own sites. This policy covers teze.app and direct correspondence with TeZe Ltd only.

teze.app is operated by TeZe Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17137231), with its registered address at 66 Paul Street, London, EC2A 4NA.

We are the data controller for any personal data we receive through teze.app or through correspondence with us.

From the website itself: nothing. teze.app does not run analytics, telemetry, or tracking of any kind. Our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for a short period for security and debugging. We do not access those logs as a matter of routine.

From email correspondence: if you email hello@teze.app, compliance@teze.app, or any other TeZe address, we receive whatever you choose to send: name, email address, and the contents of your message. We keep those emails in our Google Workspace account.

From the build enquiry process: if you contact us about a bespoke build, we keep the conversation thread and any documents you share, for as long as is useful to the project plus six years for accounting purposes after.

We process the data above on two lawful bases under UK GDPR:

Article 6(1)(b) contract: when you contact us about a service we might provide, we process your message to respond and to take steps prior to entering into a contract.

Article 6(1)(f) legitimate interests: for security logging by our hosting provider, and to retain correspondence necessary for our running of the business.

teze.app does not set any cookies, first-party or third-party. We do not run analytics, advertising, or tracking. The only thing the site loads from a third party is Google Fonts; the font files themselves do not set cookies.

The corporate site is hosted on Vercel (global edge network, primary EU region). Correspondence is handled via Google Workspace (Gmail). Domain DNS is managed by Porkbun. None of these providers receive teze.app visitor data beyond standard server logs.

Our products use additional services. Those are documented on each product's own site.

Vercel and Google Workspace process some data in the United States. These transfers are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses including the UK International Data Transfer Addendum (IDTA), and where applicable by the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Email correspondence is retained for as long as it remains useful, plus six years for anything tied to a financial or contractual matter (HMRC requirement). Build enquiries that don't lead to a contract are deleted within 24 months.

Vercel server logs are deleted on Vercel's rolling schedule (typically 30 days).

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to ask us to correct or delete it, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, to receive your data in a portable format, and to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

To exercise any of these rights, email compliance@teze.app. We will respond within one calendar month.

If you believe we have mishandled your personal data, you have the right to make a complaint. See our data protection complaints procedure for the full process.

If this policy changes materially, the “last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect that. We will not email you about minor changes.
